Robin Glassey grew up in a little town in Ontario, Canada. She moved to Utah in 1994 to finish her college degree and fell love with the mountains and Brett Glassey. When a family tragedy struck, Robin turned to writing to deal with her grief and create order out of chaos. She began writing her favorite genre – epic fantasy.

As a busy mom, Robin decided that self-publishing was the best fit for publishing her clean YA series. Her award-winning novella, The Least of Elves, was published in 2014, quickly followed by the first book in the Azetha Series: Secrets of Fathara.

While Robin’s main love is writing epic fantasy, she has won awards for her poetry and personal essay writing. Contemplating her grandmother’s digital footprint when her grandmother passed away, Robin wrote Irene Kendall Never Existed. The award-winning religious essay was released in 2020 in the anthology Chasing Tomorrow.

Robin is an experienced presenter and panelist at numerous events and conferences such as FanX SLCC, LTUE (Life the Universe and Everything), Fyrecon, the League of Utah Writers, and many more. She belongs to the League of Utah Writers and is president of one the local chapters.

The wealth of knowledge Robin has gained about self-publishing, writing, and editing she shares with both beginning and advanced writers at writing conferences throughout the year. You can find out more about Robin and her books at https://www.robinglassey.com.

Ali Cross

Ali Cross is a USA Today Bestselling author, happiness enthusiast and believer in hope in magic. She writes young adult science fiction and fantasy and loves to help writers develop their stories into bestsellers. Her greatest passion is helping others create better, happier lives and she does this through her Ch/ill Author courses for writers with chronic illness, teaching at conferences, and her podcast, Write4Joy which is about so much more than just writing.

She lives in Utah with her hacker husband and a pair of yorkies that bring happiness wherever they go (except when they're barking at the neighbors).

Ali's favorite word is namaste, and she overuses it as much as she can, because the world needs more seeing, more feeling, more understanding. And more joy.

Hey Joy Seekers!

Thank you for listening to my podcast! I really appreciate your support. It makes me happy to know people are finding some value in it.

Podcasting takes a lot of time and effort, and I'm always looking for ways to make the show better. One way I can do that is by having more time and resources to dedicate to production, editing, and promotion.

Even a small amount can make a big difference! I'll use the tips to invest in better equipment and software and to cover the costs of hosting and distributing the show.

Which would be such a helpful relief that I'd jump4joy!

If you can't tip, that's totally okay too. I appreciate you listening and sharing the show with your friends. More friends, hugs and high fives are happy-making, too!

Thanks again for your support!

Joyfully,
Ali
